Eggranked Roofing does not have roofers on staff. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent roofing provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business. It inspects the roof, writes the quote and does the work if you hire it.

This page explains what to expect and what to ask. No names, no sales scripts. Just the process.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will usually ask about:

• The age and type of your roof
• What you have noticed, such as leaks, missing shingles or storm damage
• Whether a storm caused the problem
• Your address, so they can confirm they cover the area

The provider may offer to schedule an inspection. Timing varies by provider, so ask what their calendar looks like. If the problem is urgent, say so. Many providers can respond quickly, though availability differs.

What to Ask a Roofing Provider

Bring a short list. Good questions get clear answers, and unclear answers tell you something too.

• Are you licensed and insured? Can I see proof?
• Is a repair enough, or does the roof need replacing?
• What materials do you propose, and why?
• What does the written quote include? Is tear-off and disposal listed?
• How will you check the decking under the old roof?
• What happens if hidden rot turns up?
• What warranty comes from the manufacturer, and what comes from you?
• Can you help document storm or hail damage for an insurance claim?

Write the answers down. Compare them across at least two quotes if you can.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask questions, request a written quote and say no. A sound provider will not pressure you to sign on the spot.

Take your time with the contract. Check that scope, materials, price and payment terms match the quote. Costs vary by job in the U.S., so a written quote for your own roof is the only number that counts.
